Berlin (ots) – Pharmacies in Germany are not only struggling against restrictions on the supply of essential medicines every day, but are also facing increased bureaucracy, rising energy costs and stagnant wages and fees. The number of pharmacies has been declining for years, and the lack of young people is becoming more and more visible. Pharmacists are therefore taking actions against the ineffective health policy, including the new initiative “Against the theft of the future”. The start of this program, where professional representatives of pharmacists work hand in hand with young pharmacists, is the Pharmacy Day on June 7, which this year is dedicated to the pharmacy demonstration. The new statistical yearbook “The Pharmacy: Numbers, Data, Facts 2023” provides the facts needed on the subject. A nationwide pharmacy protest day announced on June 14 is also being discussed.
The day before the pharmacy day we invite you
