For the first time, Acurathe luxury brand of Slingbrings to Mexico the Integraiconic compact sedan that arrives with a new design for its model-year 2023.
The Integra came on the market in the 1980s and helped position Acura in North America, however the premium brand decided withdraw it from sales floors in 2006.
Now, with this return, the Acura Integra replaces the ILXwhich was built on the same platform as the Honda Civic.
For this new generation, the Integra incorporates for the first time a 1.5L turbo engine with four cylinders in line and direct injection of 16 valves DOHC VTEC.
With that turbo engine, the Integra achieves 200 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 192 pound-feet of torque.
The Integra also has four drive modes: Comfortable, Normal, Sport and, the single modewhich allows the driver to modify settings for a personalized driving experience.
Nostalgic but current design
The new Integra 2023 arrives with a profile of coupe and a sporty design, inspired by previous Integrasincluding the 1986 original, complete with a sport spoiler, 18-inch wheels and a three-way power sunroof.
Besides, it’s the Acura’s first model which adopts the frameless pentagon-shaped grille, with a new diamond pattern, which was introduced on the TLX Type S Concept.
Lighting includes headlights LED Jewel Eye and daytime running lights and taillights LED Chicane that are paired with the etched Integra logo on the fascias, and reminiscent of the iconic 3rd generation Integra from 1993.

Inside there is a screen Acura Precision Cockpit of 10.2 inches with compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for the infotainment system.
Other technological amenities include a wireless charger and the premium audio system ELS STUDIO 3D with 16 speakers, tailored to the listening environment of the Integra 2023; although this is available at the top of the range.
In addition, it is also available with seat covers in synthetic skin and Alcantara inserts.
Regarding security, Integra 2023 includes active and passive safety technologies, including the Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) from Acura. There is also the driver assistance system AcuraWatch with Frontal Collision Braking Alert System, Lane Keeping System, Rear Collision Prevention System, among others.
