Citroen DX. This is what the successor to the iconic CX was supposed to look like? | French.pl

The Citroën DX was presented in 1987 as the successor to the popular CX model. It featured a long front, large sloping windshield, large side doors and a shortened rear.

The design of the Citroen DX, which was considered as a show car for the 1987 exhibition, was presented by Daniel Abramson. He was one of the leading designers of the Citroën brand in the 1980s and 1990s.

The Citroen DX was never discovered, not even in model form. At the time, Citroen was already working on a car that would eventually be called the XM. Sharp body lines were a trademark of the automotive industry in the early 1980s and 1990s. The DX remained only on paper and this is the form we see today.
