The Paderborn broadcasting association has announced the main characters of this year’s spring festival: At the beginning of May, Scottish rocker Ray Wilson and electronic duo Fast Boy from Berlin will be on the big stage in front of Paderborn’s town hall on Friday and Saturday respectively. In addition to the two concerts, there will be another musical performance at the Spring Festival these evenings, the broadcasting association announced.

Ray Wilson has been active as a musician since the 1990s. He rose to fame, among other things, when he joined the rock band Genesis as a singer after Phil Collins left in 1996. Since the band’s disbandment, Wilson has continued to perform as a solo artist. . His latest album “The Wight of Man” was released in 2021. He will be on the stage of the town hall in Paderborn on Friday evening, May 3, from 9 pm

Musically, the Saturday evening of the Spring festival will be completely different: Fast Boy – these are the two brothers Lucas and Felix Hain – producing electronic dance music. In February 2023, “Forget You”, which Fast Boy released with DJ Topic, was released, one of the duo’s best-known songs to date, which quickly became a hit.

In the premiere this weekend, however, things will be very quiet: According to the news, the so-called “silent parties” will take place on Friday and Saturday in the school grounds of the Theodorianum high school and in front of the main entrance of Theology.
