two big updates are coming, the first picture

Cupra is preparing an update for the Formentor and Leon, which will be revealed at the end of April. The changes will be mainly cosmetic.

It might not seem like it at first glance, but the Cupra Formentor is starting to look good. Especially since it was originally developed on the MQB Evo platform, which organizes a variety of models within the Volkswagen group, from the Golf to the Q3 including the Spanish compacts. Formentor, but also Leon who will have the right to be renewed in the same way as his leg cousin. This modification will not be only cosmetic, although the main focus will probably be on the light signature, already shown in this teaser image of the rear lights, visible in profile.

The Formentor belongs to Cupra and is therefore the best seller of the Seat group in Europe. This shows the importance of this SUV and the profile of the coupe which, through its iconic and muscular style, has taken the Cupra to a level never seen before.. So an update will be necessary to stay in the game despite the lack of non-chargeable engines that are currently on the rise. Formentor no longer has a 100% electric version (there is of Birth for that matter), but it can rely on a catalog of fuel constraints that are still impressive with the variations of modern PHEVs. There will also be something new under the hood, along with cosmetic tweaks: “both models will benefit from a new brand design, the integration of the latest eHybrid technology, better connectivity and sustainable development features, while improving driving performance..
