Dodge Charger Electric, leaks expect the revolution of the American icon


A recent leak would reveal the appearance of the next one Dodge Challenger electric. All eyes are on this car (especially in the US) as it represents a significant evolution of the historic American muscle car.

We told you about the (partial) farewell to this car as we know it along with the construction of the latest Challenger model powered by its historic engine and V8 wonder. The Brampton plant will close for two years to accommodate production of the electric Challenger. In the much talked about leaks, new electric body of the Dodge Charger, before its official presentation by the Ram brand. This supercar shows itself in all its beauty both aesthetically and functionally.

The leak revealed a preview of car design, giving an inside look before the official game. You’ll notice right away that Dodge’s designers have chosen a design that follows the elegant lines already adopted by the Challenger. This two-door sports car has evolved into a luxury sedan while remaining popular long bonnet, although it is now powered by an electric frunk instead of the traditional HEMI V8 engine. Aesthetically, the headlights now span the entire width of the front, integrated into one piece with a narrow, long continuous bead. The front grille is presented in a simplified trapezoidal shape, while the back of the lamp also extends in one piece, it is clear to provide the rear exhaust.

That innovation would also spread inside the passenger compartment, where you can appreciate two digital screens: one for the instrument, which shows information such as the power and range of the battery, and a large touch screen integrated into the central console. The front seats and steering wheel covered in Alcantara are just some of the details that give the new Charger a sporty and modern aesthetic.

We also told you about the latest special edition Dodge Challenger with a combustion engine, a beast capable of surpassing even the historic Demon version. It’s a sort of “final version” of the Challenger, based on the Hellcat and powered by ethanol, and 800 horsepower and its inevitable 6.2 liter V8 engine.
