Pirelli has developed four new tires for the new Lamborghini Urus SE plug-in with the sports car manufacturer.

Italian tire manufacturer Pirelli has expanded its Lamborghini Urus SE portfolio. The Italians have developed tailor-made P-Zero tires and a winter tire from the Scorpion range for the new hybrid version of the SUV.

The car manufacturer and Pirelli have had two years of joint development, during which the tires had to pass over 300 kilometers per hour on the racetrack in Italy and below 30 degrees Celsius on the Arctic Circle. The result is four new types of tires: P-Zero in 21, 22 and 23 inches and the Scorpion Winter 2 tire 22 inches. The new tires also carry Pirelli’s Elect symbol, which indicates technology that, according to the manufacturer, improves the characteristics of cars of electricity. This means that the tires do justice to the Urus SE’s torque and weight, driving noise is reduced and battery life is extended.

One tire in three sizes

To emphasize the feeling of driving and playing Lamborghini Urus SE, special tires used compounds that do not care about temperature changes, the company emphasizes. Thus, the P-Zero tires remain stable on the road even in wet conditions and enable “even extreme driving maneuvers”.

For the winter season

According to Pirelli, in the Scorpion 2 winter the 3D tread pattern was created in such a way that the sipes take on a zigzag pattern as the tire wears gradually. According to Pirelli, this means that the tire remains safe and efficient throughout its service life.

Over the years, Pirelli has developed a wide portfolio of Lamborghini Urus:

Summer: 21-, 22-, 23-inch P-Zero and 22-inch P-Zero Corsa tires.

Winter: 22-inch Scorpion Zero All-Season, 21- and 22-inch Scorpion Winter, 21-inch Scorpion Ice Zero 2 (spikes).
