On the B6, a Nissan driver collided with oncoming traffic – five injured

Leipzig – Fatal accident with five people injured on the B6 road Saturday morning (April 13): The driver lost control and crashed into oncoming traffic.

The A9 Halle/Leipzig exits towards Berlin and Halle/Leipzig are completely closed in both directions.

A Rescue helicopterr and an emergency doctor had to be requested.

Five vehicles have collided on federal highway 6 near Großkugel. According to the police, an old Nissan driver had health problems and was no longer able to drive the car. So he ended up on another road and hit a total of four other cars. Each was seriously injured in the collision and four people were injured. An initial report said six vehicles were involved.

B6 is still closed

The driver of the Nissan himself was seriously injured. All the victims were taken to the hospital.

According to the police, the B6 is completely closed in both directions between the Großkugel exit and the A9, Großkugel (until 2 p.m.). Drivers who are aware of the area are asked to avoid the area as much as possible;

The police are already getting evidence of the accident.
