Recidivist stole a car, was quickly arrested – News

The car was stolen on the night of May 22/23, 2023. A 38-year-old resident of Zduńska Wola left a Mitsubishi car in front of the property in the evening. He did not lock the car and left the keys inside between the seats. On the morning of May 23, he saw that the car was gone. He informed the police about it.

The officers of Zduńska Wola, after receiving the information, started to recover the car. It has been confirmed that the stolen car is in Dobra, in Turek County. Thanks to the cooperation with the police of the Police Station in Dobra, a few hours after the report, the stolen car was found. A 57-year-old resident of Dolnośląskie Voivodship was detained, who also did not have a driving license. The next day, he was accused of stealing not only the car, but also the items inside the car, totaling more than PLN 15,000. The suspect has an extensive record, and committed the last crime in a so-called relapse situation. He will answer to the court for theft, which in his case is a prison sentence of up to 7.5 years. The vehicle returned to its owner.
