Record sales of Alfa Romeo in Poland

Record sales of Alfa Romeo in Poland

Alfa Romeo ended 2021 with new car sales of 1,749, which is up more than 30 percent year-on-year, on top of the new passenger car market, which grew by 4.3 percent in the period.

The undisputed hit of the brand was the sports SUV, Alfa Romeo Stelvio, which climbed the Top 10 SUV ranking. 1,210 Stelvio units sold gave it an impressive increase of 50.9% compared to 2020. In addition, 2021 was a record year for Stelvio in Poland, bringing the best results since its launch in 2017.

The results achieved by Alfa Romeo Giulia, representing the Italian brand in the D segment of sports limousines, are also to be welcomed. 490 buyers chose this sedan last year, giving it a 37.6% increase in sales. This is the Giulia’s sales record in Poland since its launch in 2016.

The excellent sales results placed Poland in the four leading markets for Alfa Romeo in Europe, after Italy (1), Germany (2) and Spain (3). Poland is the first European market to introduce a warranty of 5 years and 200,000 kilometers. All Alfa Romeos sold in Poland in 2021 come with a 5-year warranty, resulting in an increase in residual value and an improvement in the brand’s overall image.

Alfa Romeo representatives are also looking forward to a good year 2022. In the first days of January, a 540 HP Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm was delivered to a Polish customer. The next two units of this exclusive model will be released in January, and the last three of the six units intended for the domestic market will be released in the first half of this year.

What Alfist is looking forward to is the debut of the new Tonale compact SUV. The model will launch in the middle of the year at the same time in the most important European markets, including Poland. The Tonale model will introduce the Milan brand to the electric world, offering a hybrid drive with the latest technologies in the field of autonomy, safety and connectivity.
