Debut in the summer of 2024 with the new GT version

Kia is planning an affordable electric car as an entry-level model and at the end of 2023 they showed the first concept of such a model, the Kia EV3. The world premiere will follow in July, according to Korean Car Blog, and we’ll also get a sporty version of the GT.

There’s probably no real Kia EV3 GT, at least not at first, but there is a sportier-looking Kia EV3 GT Line and it’s definitely more powerful. The 2024 Kia ​​EV3 is intended to resemble models like the new Volvo EX30.

Kia EV3 as a concept from 2023

We are talking about an electric car that is less than 4.4 meters in length and is based on the design of the Kia EV9, only more complex. However, the 800 volt technology is not available here only to use 400 volts for cost reasons.

I’m looking forward to the final details on the Kia EV3, because at the right price the compact SUV could be a flagship model for the brand. It should be classified under the electric Niro, so I think around 40,000 euros to start with.
