Registrations more than doubled: In the first four months, Alfa Romeo recorded the largest increase of all passenger car brands

Figures from the Federal Motor Transport Authority show that new registrations in Germany for Alfa Romeo from January to April 2023 increased by 125.1 percent compared to the previous year – the largest increase of any passenger car brand.

In April, Alfa Romeo even realized an increase of 163 percent compared to the same month of 2022.

Above all, the new Alfa Romeo Tonale reinforces the continuing high standard.

Rüsselsheim, May 2023 – In April, Alfa Romeo continued the upward trend from the entire first quarter of 2023. Compared to the previous year, the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) reports a 125.1 percent increase in the number of brand registrations of Italian culture from the Stellantis Group in the period from January to April. [1]. In the KBA passenger car category figures, Alfa Romeo therefore grew more in percentage terms than any other brand on the German market in the first four months. In April, Alfa Romeo even had a 163 percent increase in new registrations compared to April 2022.

The new Alfa Romeo Tonale is mainly responsible for the ongoing positive data. The brand’s first electrified model already accounted for 41 percent of new registrations as of April. The Alfa Romeo Giulia sports sedan was responsible for 31 percent and the Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV for 28 percent of the brand’s new registrations.
