After the electric version, Citroën announces new variants of the upcoming C3: The small car will also be available with petrol engines at a competitive price.

The French are now introducing variants with combustion engines – and they are attractive with a low starting price: the version called “You” starts at 14,990 euros with a 101 hp petrol engine, a six-speed manual gearbox and equipment features such as side mirrors out of electricity. , automatic headlights, LED lights, cruise control, Emergency brake warning and lane departure warning, air conditioning and the option to connect a smartphone as an infotainment screen.

At this price, Citroen is poaching in Dacia’s territory with the 4.01-meter-long C3: the seven-centimeter-long Sandero from Renault’s Romanian subsidiary is available from 11,500 euros.

The top version of the device “Max” is available from 19,200 euros with additional features such as 17-inch alloy wheels, comfort seats, reversing camera, touch screen and a different roof. A 101 hp engine is also installed here as standard, which, according to the manufacturer, consumes 5.6 liters per 100 km and is equipped with start technology.

A few differences to the E version

The C3 can be ordered now and deliveries are scheduled to begin in the summer. There will also be a hybrid version available later this year.

Otherwise, the combustion engine C3 differs slightly from the electric version. The trunk holds 310 liters (ten liters more than its predecessor), the cockpit is reduced and is based on a high-speed display in which the most important information for the driver is displayed. Depending on the equipment, there is also a 10.25-inch central screen.

For the first time, Citroën presents its new brand signature on the C3 with a circular logo that replaces the two free corners. The little French also breaks new ground in terms of design, appearing less rounded than previous models.
