As previously announced, the automotive equipment provider CMA CGM Group has joined Flexis SAS, founded on March 22, 2024 by Renault Group and Volvo Group. The alliance wants to develop a new generation of electric vehicles. CMA CGM, through its energy fund PULSE, has acquired a 10% stake in Flexis SAS and confirmed its intention for a strategic investment of up to 120 million euros by 2026.

Volvo Group and Renault Group, which each have a 45% stake in Flexis SAS, plan to invest 300 million Euros each over the next three years. There are new expectations for electric vehicles as professional customers face increasing pressure from climate change and CO2 regulations, while e-commerce and logistics are on the rise.
