What? What Do You Want To Know?

It’s not often you get a chance to drive every single car a car company makes, but that’s what I’m about to do. I’m on my way to Lucid headquarters in Silicon Valley, California to sample all the cars the new automaker is currently building. Of course, that won’t be difficult at all. right now, Lucid only builds the Air sedanand I will have time to stay inside all four trim levelsfrom Basic model Air Safi all the way up A quarter million dollar sapphire.

Before I got behind the wheel of Fresh Air, To visit, Grand Touring and Sapphire, I want to know what you want to know about them. What keeps you up at night about the Lucid range? Want to know how they compare to each other? What about which one is better to drive? Which Air the best smell? Which tastes better? Bestie, I will answer any question you ask.

Before we get into it, why don’t we go over some boilerplate stuff with the Air column. At the “bottom” of the heap, we find Fresh Air. It is powered by a single electric motor on the rear axle that puts out a very good 430 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. Although it’s more affordable, 0-to-60 mph is still dispatched in 4.5 seconds, and the range from the 88 kWh battery is between 394 and 410 miles depending on wheel size. Prices start at $71,400 plus destination.

From there, we are given Air Travel. That limits you to two motors and all wheel drive with a capacity of 620 hp and 885 lb-ft of torque. That’s enough to get you to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds, and you’ll get 365 to 411 miles of range depending on wheel size from the massive 92-kWh battery. Prices start at $79,400.

I hear you, you need more. Well, Lucid agrees and here’s why Air Grand Tour from. The car makes more power from its two engines: 819 horsepower and 885 lb-ft of torque. Guys. Grand Tourism it’s about, well, grand tour. That means it comes with a 112-kWh battery that’s good for 516 miles if you have the right wheels. That will get the job done. Despite that high number, hitting 60 mph takes just three seconds. Prices start at $111,400.

Finally, we get to the top dog: the Sapphire of the air. This thing is quite a missile because of its triple engine setup (two in the back and one in the front) that pumps out 1,234 hp and 1,430 lb-ft of torque. As a result, the 0 to 60 run is over in just 1.89 seconds, and it can hit a top speed of 205-mph. The claimed range is still solid, all things considered. Lucid says the Sapphire’s 118-kWh battery is good for a range of 427 miles. Prices start at $249,900.

So, that’s it Lucid Air series. How about dropping you down below and let me know what you want to know about it?
