The accident happened in the area of ​​South High Street and Alcott Road before 9:30 pm

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Three people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash south of Columbus Monday night.

According to the Columbus Police Department, the crash happened in the area of ​​South High Street and Alcott Road just before 9:30 p.m.

A silver Chrysler 300 was heading south on South High Street approaching Alcott Road while a gray Chevrolet Silverado was attempting to turn left onto High Street from the parking lot.

Police said the Chevrolet did not yield and was struck by the Chrysler. The Chrysler hit the driver’s side of the Chevrolet causing it to roll and land on the driver’s side. The Chrysler went off the east side of the road and struck a tree.

The driver of the Chrysler and the driver and passenger of the Chevrolet were taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition.

The accident is still under investigation.
