Rolls-Royce entertains the Phantom with flashing lights and disc wheels

Rolls-Royce fixes Phantom, but not a complete overhaul. The state-of-the-art automaker adds an option to the design that inherits components from Ghost as well as new technological innovations that improve the glow of an eighth-generation car.

The structure changes show how the manufacturer listens to customer requests and combines that information with the data provided from the company’s order bank.

“Phantom occupies an unprecedented position in the forefront of the world of luxury,” Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, said in a press release. “As our main product, it represents the best Rolls-Royce design, engineering and craftsmanship – the perfect combination of vision, creativity, the best material, skill, patience and precision. For Phantom II series, we have carefully preserved and protected what our customers love about this luxury product; subtle but meaningful improvements reflect their ongoing taste and demand. ”

Ahead, a bright new horizontal line passes between the daytime running lights and the top of the Pantheon grille. The boldness of the grille is enhanced by a new lighting feature that first appeared on company order papers and the launch of Ghost in 2020.

Phantom is available in a two-wheel-based configuration, including the extended version shown here.

The headlights have star-shaped lanterns cut on the edge, drawing a parallel pattern between the front part of the car and the Starlight interior. At night, the light environment seems to glow.

The new wheel options reflect the growing popularity of the Rolls-Royce Black Badge models. A three-dimensional stainless steel wheel with black corner sections is available, either fully or partially polished. Buyers can also choose a disc wheel, which is made of stainless steel polished with black lacquer. The automaker says the disc wheel option evokes “the will of the 1920s Rolls-Royce cars.”

The English automation maker will now allow customers to order a sculpted chrome grille, black bonus brackets, front mirror settings and peripheral frame finishes from the company, instead of relying on other people’s adjustments to achieve that look.

Much of the car’s cabinet remains the same in the Phantom Series II as it was when the model was launched a few years ago, though the steering wheel has been made a bit thicker.

Rolls-Royce owners use the Whispers app to enhance their luxury lifestyle. Unlike other automated applications, Whispers allows customers to access content tailored to applications that fit their needs. Users can now send contacts to direct the route directly from the app to the car’s infotainment system.

Rolls-Royce Connected technology also allows owners to see the location of their vehicle, safety and health conditions at Whispers. Owners can also contact the seller directly to request a service.

The company will continue to offer Phantom as a “blank canvas” to owners, allowing full privatization through the Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective.

The new Phantom price has not been released, but is expected to be close to $ 500,000 before the upgrade is included.

Rolls Royce Phantom Platino

To demonstrate the transparency of the Rolls-Royce and the changes in the design of the Series II, Phantom Platino was ordered by the customer. The car got its name from the silver-white color of Platinum Mental.

Platino shines the most unique in the interior. Using the starting section of the 2015 Phantom Serenity commission, which states hand-painted, hand-stitched silks on cabinets, Platino introduces materials other than leather in space: one made in an Italian mill and the other in bamboo.

Both materials have a repetitive text structure based on “Ecstasy Spirit summary summary”. A similar design can be found in the Phantom Gallery, directly to the right of the occupant’s visual line, as well as the armrest and center console.

The design is also based on the Phantom Clock, which is made of three-dimensional ceramic and placed on an ice finish.

In the Starlight head of the car, illuminated LED dots are placed to draw the eye back, with shooting stars following the pattern layer.

The cost of the commission created is not disclosed.
