Anyone who has always dreamed of working for a luxury manufacturer in the automotive industry now has a fantastic opportunity at Rolls-Royce. This year, the British carmaker offered a record 37 apprenticeships, the highest number since the programme launched in 2006.

The growth in apprenticeships was driven by strong sales from the luxury carmaker, the launch of new models such as the Rolls-Royce Ghost Black Badge and a new generation of luxury EVs led by the Spectre – Rolls-Royce’s first electric car car.

For the first time in the history of Rolls-Royce's apprenticeship program, the luxury carmaker has hired 37 new apprentices. You can still apply until February 2022.

to the south of england

If you are accepted into the apprenticeship programme, you will be able to call your new home to Chichester in the south of England, where Rolls-Royce is headquartered, in September 2022. This town of just under 27,000 inhabitants isn’t known for its lavish party life, but celebrities from the British and international motoring and motorsport worlds host the legendary Goodwood Festival several times a year.

Once you’re under the Rolls-Royce banner, you’ll stay there for two to four years, completing an apprenticeship that combines theory and practice. In addition to your paid employment at Rolls-Royce, you will also attend part-time study at a local college or university. Training and degrees are fully funded by the company.

Of course, you can choose between different regions. For example in production, apprentices receive manual training in the areas of assembly, interior trim, surface treatment, interior and complete vehicle quality management. But you can also do apprenticeships outside of production in other departments, including various management departments. Who knows, maybe in the future a Rolls-Royce will be offered to you as a company car.

Climb the career ladder

Rolls-Royce points out that it is not unreasonable for many trainees to take up supervisory, technical and management positions within the company after completing their training. Torsten Müller-Ötvos, chief executive of Rolls-Royce, said: “We have always recognised the importance of investing in future talent, not only to support our own business objectives, but also to develop skills and knowledge in the UK luxury industry more broadly. .” «Our trainees not only receive first-class training in practical manuals, technical or business skills, but also obtain fully company-funded qualifications, including degrees. This is a great opportunity and a very attractive study option for those who feel comfortable in a hands-on learning environment. »

application is here Still possible until 20 February 2022 – the basic requirements are a good school certificate and a very good knowledge of English. After the application deadline, successful applicants will be admitted to the September 2022 training program.
