The Wegberg Leipert Motorsport team starts the season with three Lamborghinis


Leipert Motorsport, Wegberger’s Motul-backed team, is competing with three cars in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe 2024 and is highly motivated in the fight to defend its title. After extensive preparation and successful testing, many drivers who will represent the team in the coming season have been identified.

In the PRO class, the duo Jacob Riegel and Sebastian Balthasar will compete for Leipert Motorsport and Lamborghini #70. 19-year-old Jacob Riegel (Hünxe) brings experience from the DTM Trophy, GTWC and Asia Le Mans Series. 27-year-old Sebastian Balthasar (Dormagen), who has already been successful in LST Europe and the Italian GT Championship for three years, returns to Leipert Motorsport after two years. Together, the two young men form a strong team that is already well prepared for this season.

AM champions of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America 2023. McIntosh and 49-year-old McGee have decided to continue their success in LST Europe and will drive the #99 Lamborghini for Leipert Motorsport. They are also returning to the team after a long-distance campaign for the team in the 24-hour series in 2022 and, in addition to the LST Europe race, will also compete in the LST North America.
