Advantage 1: new keyboard shortcuts

In the upper left part of the screen there are five shortcut keys that you can choose manually. That makes it very easy to jump to your favorite menu.

The ID.7 is not the only electric sedan on sale, but it is one of the few with a large and convenient hatch.

Advantage 3: you don’t have to wait

Thanks to Software ID 4.0, the touchscreen comes to life very quickly. When you log in, you can click on the icons immediately – you don’t have to wait.

3 disadvantages of Volkswagen ID.7

Disadvantage 1: inheritance of identity structures

A devilish trinity of cues is present: temperature sliders, touch buttons on the steering wheel and a Back button for the rear windows.

Disadvantage 2: no frunk

Saba is an example of an ID with a longer cap. In addition, the engine is in the back. And yet no space has been created for frunk.

Loss 3: where are the numbers?

New digital media display less information than their predecessors. So there are no usage statistics or navigation instructions. They are in the headline show.
