Citroen C3 Aircross has been completely updated. It grows in size and uses the same styling language that we saw on the new C3. There will be a vacancy on the board up to 7 passengers and sales will begin in the summer. For now, however, the automaker only wanted to give a preview of the new SUV. Technical details, especially those of the engine, will be presented later.

We will also have to wait to know the settings and the price.

The new Citroen C3 Aircross its height is 4.39 meters that is, about 23 cm more than the current model. Thanks to the increase in size it is also possible to have a third row of seats (2 folding seats in the boot) to provide space for 7 passengers. Unfortunately, the French car manufacturer has not provided information on other dimensions of the new car. We don’t even know, at the moment, the potential of the trunk.

The design recalls that of the new Citroen C3, and that front he remembers that of the Citroen Oli concept, featuring a three-level light signature with one vertical bar and two horizontal bars that resemble blades. Overall, the new model has more muscular shapes than the current C3 Aircross. On the front we also find the new logo of the French car maker.

Unfortunately, Citroen has not said anything about the interior and no pictures of the cabin have been shared either. However, one can imagine the presence of an infotainment system with a screen of around 10 inches. We will know more next time.

The new French SUV depends Stellantis Smart Car platform. With the new C3 Aircross, the French brand will propose endothermic, hybrid (Mild Hybrid) and electric engines. No technical details have been shared but regarding the Hybrid model, we will certainly find a 1.2-3-cylinder engine displaced 75 kW / 100 HP with a gearbox that connects the electric unit of 21 kW / 29 HP. The engine is already offered in the new C3.
