SANTA MARINELLA – The seventh edition of the La Dolce Vita cup started yesterday, organized by the Circuito Storico Santa Marinella association of President Padelletti. “In times when there are many questions about gender equality and the affirmation of women – says Padelletti – it seemed right and fair to remember how the Italian car industry was among the first to break taboos and stereotypes by dedicating this edition to Maria Teresa De Filippis, the first woman to qualify for a Formula 1 grand prix competition”.
In previous editions, the Trophy paid tribute, among others, to Maria Montessori, Guglielmo Marconi, Federico Fellini. Again because of its attachment to the area, the Historic Circuit of Santa Marinella supports the activities of Avis of Santa Marinella. The automotive sponsor of the event, once again Autocentri Balduina, a Porsche dealer since 1962 in Rome, which will organize an exhibition of the latest models of the car manufacturer, making them available to the public. Among the various prizes, the work of the international architect Stefano Notargiacomo, author of the Lazio Regional Competition and a special prize for the Porsche category will be awarded to the Best Of Show category. The award of the cars will be held tomorrow in the tourist port, in front of the mayor Pietro Tidei and the mayors of the Municipalities concerned, the councilor of culture of the Lazio Region Simona Renata Baldassarre, Coni, the trustees and the administrator of the Bambino Gesù Institute.
