Many teams worked on race setups, with different results also from qualifying due to different weather conditions.

The most promising case is – pleasant surprise – that of Andretti Autosport, with Kyle Kirkwood in fifth and Colton Herta and his French driver Romain Grosjean in the top 10!

It should be said that on the contrary, other teams have chosen a different strategy, stopping around fifty laps completed on the oval, especially McLaren, while others like Ryan Hunter-Reay have encountered problems (gearbox) and preferred to concentrate. to modify them, or had to adapt to new conditions, as Graham Rahal of DRR:
