Ayrton Senna’s vintage Honda NSX can be yours

Ayrton Senna apparently really liked the Honda NSX. He has owned three, two black and one red. Red is now on sale. So this is your chance to get behind the wheel of the car that three-time F1 world champion Ayrton Senna drove and drifted. Expect some requests from Senna fan clubs to be allowed to pamper something when you buy the car.

Even when the NSX was introduced, this Honda was a great example of technology. The 3.0-liter V6 with VTEC was in the middle of the long drive. Ayrton Senna’s old car engine produces 275 hp. As the NSX has aged, its demand and especially the price has increased significantly. NSXs are becoming increasingly rare, especially special models like the Type-R.

What happened to the NSX after Senna’s death?

The Honda NSX first lived in Portugal, but for a few years now it has been living in cold England. The owner, who has had it since 2013, is now selling the NSX Auto trader for a little over half a million pounds. The car has traveled over 39,000 miles, which is over 62,000 km. It is not known how many kilometers were driven by Senna behind the wheel.

Before the car is sold, it can still shine at the special Senna exhibition at Silverstone, between August 23 and 25. After that, the NSX can go to a new owner. Assuming you don’t have half a million euros in an old sock somewhere or you’ve just received a financial windfall, you, like us, can only dream of these types of cars.
