What a shame, the Quattroporte will have to stay in the heat for a few more months…

If in general, all the products of the Stellantis group seem to have a road already planned, it does not seem so clear on the part of Maserati. The Italian manufacturer has launched an electric variant of its GranCabrio, called the Folgore, and has already confirmed the MC20 Folgore for next year. It remains to power the big Quattroporte.

We assumed that, logically, Maserati would use Stellantis’ STLA big platform, but in reality the brand has not yet made its choice. It also plans to make some modifications to the GranTurismo Folgore platform, which would allow it to take a lower driving position. Nothing has been confirmed inside yet, which means that the development of the big limousine is currently on hold. So we will have to watch the Italian side of the Alps to follow the change in the situation.
