Tesla Supercharger, for non-customers the subscription drops to 9.99 euros

Tesla one announced new tax structure for Superchargers in Italy. The news is worrying non-Tesla customers only, that is, those who do not have an American electrical brand. As we know, in some Supercharger stations they can charge all electric vehicles.

For those who don’t own a Tesla, there are significant upfront costs. However, the car manufacturer offers registration which allows you to fill up with energy at the same rates as Tesla owners.

First news refers to the monthly fee of this registration that down from the previous 12.99 euros to the current 9.99 euros per month. Additionally, the automaker has introduced an annual plan at a price of 100 euros for a 16% discount compared to monthly subscriptions.

Obviously, there is always the possibility of a return to the level of use that will continue to be updated from time to time. We remind you that the cost varies depending on the time and payment center. To take advantage of the new rates, the Tesla software must be updated to version 4.32 or higher. There is no change for those who already drive an American brand electric car.

The Supercharger network has always represented an added value for Tesla to offer to its customers and beyond. Elon Musk’s car company is actually investing heavily in the development of this infrastructure for fast charging of electric vehicles.

To date, more than 14,000 Superchargers are available in 30 European countries distributed in more than 1,100 points. Over 70% of the network is currently open to non-Tesla vehicles, and more Superchargers will continue to be added in the near future.
