These are the items that can be auctioned in the Art & Design 5 auction on the platform Artinfo.pl. All items can be seen “live” between September 29 and October 2 at the exhibition at ul. Mysia 3 in Warsaw. The auction will run from September 23 to October 11 – the final will take place on the last day at 21:00.
The Art and Architecture Auction at Artinfo.pl is scheduled for the fifth time. Its manager and main organizer is Ewa Mierzejewska. This time, he selected 87 items for auction, including 64 works of art traditionally understood – mainly paintings, but the offering also includes photographs, sculptures and drawings. The conservator invited Marek Kasperski, the creator of the Artkomis.pl gallery, a collector of pop culture art, whose collections were shown, among others, in Independent Collectors or Forbes. Marek Kasperski has offered 23 items at the Art & Design 5 auction that cover a wide range of his interests: memorabilia, animation art, applied art and bootleg toys – and this is just a small part of his vast collection.
“When Ewa Mierzejewska invited me to the Art and Design project, I said that maybe one could consider my collection to be the most absurd in Poland – a large part of which is about the subject of laughter and absurdity, two that she breaks the existing. systems of medium art, looking for art, among other toys. For the first time, their works in Art and Architecture are presented, among others, by Marek Okrassa, Urszula Tekieli, Anna Grzymała, Robert Motelski, Filip Gruszczyński, Olga Mokrzycka-Grospierre. The latest painting is exhibited by Bartłomiej Koter, who returns to the auction market.
