More than 1 million euros for Ford GT at auction

The 2022 Ford GT was sold for 1.1 million euros at an auction on the Bring a Trailer platform. This special edition of 27 examples has less than 200 kilometers on the odometer.

With a rich racing history and only 127 miles on the odometer, this ’64 Ford GT Heritage Edition is a rare collector’s item. This special edition 2022 Ford GT, limited to 27 examples, celebrates the 1964 racing model (Ford GT40) with a Wimbledon White finish, carbon fiber accents and A 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6.

This generation launched in 2015 offers a more expressive design than the previous one from 2005 and features taken from the competition, such as adjustable hydraulic suspension. Inside, the Sparco seats covered in Lightspeed blue Alcantara and the multifunction steering wheel really make you think of a racing car.

Some may be offended by the purchase price of this particular Ford GT, which, remember, was exchanged for 1.1 million euros. But it’s a safe bet that his ratings will continue to rise in the coming years…
