In our long-term trial of the Skoda Enyaq vRS Coupé, we’ve been gauging its performance, luxury and practicality over an extended period of time. Its electrified powertrain and SPORTLINE specs offer a sporty, yet efficient driving experience.
The Enyaq vRS Coupé features a 77 kWh lithium-ion battery, with the option of a 62 kWh model, providing a range of up to 310 miles on a single charge. This is combined with a rear-mounted, all-wheel-drive system featuring two electric motors, one at the front and one at the rear, to deliver 201 kW of power and 310 Nm of torque. This provides a 0-60 mph time of 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 112 mph.
Our test model came with a range of SPORTLINE additions, including 19-inch alloy wheels, lowered sports suspension, advanced Matrix LED headlights and dynamic cornering lights. The interior is also upgraded with a virtual cockpit, heated sports steering wheel and heated front seats.
On the road, the Enyaq vRS Coupé is a comfortable and competent performer. The all-wheel-drive system provides plenty of grip for cornering and the suspension is firm, yet supple enough to absorb bumps and potholes. The electric motors also provide a smooth, linear acceleration and the regenerative braking system helps to reduce energy consumption.
The interior is also a comfortable and luxurious place to be. The seats are supportive and the cabin is well insulated from external noise. The climate control is responsive and the infotainment system is easy to use.
Overall, the Skoda Enyaq vRS Coupé is an impressive electric car with a stylish exterior, sporty performance and luxurious interior. It offers a great balance of efficiency, practicality and luxury, making it an attractive proposition.
