The Audi A4 B6 series, which was produced from 2000 to 2004, marked an important step in the development of Audi’s mid-size sedan. It was characterized by improved technology, refined design and great comfort. Especially with its combination of quattro all-wheel drive and six-cylinder naturally aspirated engine, the A4 B6 was able to convince on a wide range of terrain. The specially modified Audi A4 B6 presented below takes features to a new level and surprisingly shows that even high-speed cars can still be powerful and stylish. In the snowy Tatra mountains in Poland, the revised A4 B6 was tested at -30 degrees Celsius.
Audi A4 B6 with 3.0 liter V6
The naturally aspirated 3.0 liter engine delivers 220 hp and 300 NM torque. The heart of the power train is the Quattro all-wheel drive, which, together with the manual transmission, allows a precise driving style. The interior of the A4 features a custom-made aluminum shifter with a carbon/aluminum switch panel and an open shift gate. It adds a touch of sophistication and playfulness. A leather steering wheel marked at 12 o’clock and a large tablet in the middle position ensure a modern and functional experience.
The A4 B6 look comes in a metallic denim color that flatters the sleek lines of the car. A special highlight is the Remus sports exhaust system with a carbon pipe. Not only is it visible, but thanks to the elimination of the triggers and the custom-made H-pipe, it produces a deep and powerful sound. There is also a carbon diffuser at the rear of the car, which gives the A4 a sportier look.
with a sports suspension from Sachs
The sports suspension from Sachs, which is perfectly matched to the 19-inch VMR V701 wheels, ensures excellent handling. The gold finish of the rim provides a striking contrast to the dark blue body and rounds out the dynamic overall A4 image. Although the A4’s odometer shows an impressive 415,000 km, the car shows that a well-maintained and lovingly restored car can still perform at a high level even after many kilometers of driving. The high mileage is not only a testimony to the reliability and durability of the A4 B6, but also proof that the model can still provide driving pleasure and comfort even after almost two decades.
The impressive modification of this Audi A4 B6 highlights the characteristics and character of the original model and takes it to a new level. It shows how a classic car can be transformed to modern standards through careful and well-thought-out modifications without losing its original charm.
