Around 5:40 am, officers saw a BMW X6 on the highway. Despite his speeding, he could be spotted in the “Rossauer Wald” car park on the A4.

As it turned out during the inspection, the Luxembourg license plates affixed to the car were found to be fake and were not issued to BMW.

Although the BMW had not yet been reported stolen at the time, suspicions quickly grew, because the 44-year-old driver did not have the car keys.
