Emotions run high for Referee: ‘You’re going to get hit hard’

The fact that anger about the weather between neighbors can increase is evident from the latest episode of Driving judge. Mrs. De Willigen and Mr. The Michels have been neighbors for fourteen years, but they cannot agree on a solution to the dampness problem in De Willigen’s wall. “He’s so funny.”

After entering the house of De Willigen, it is immediately clear: there is mold on the wall in the bedroom and which seems to have been caused by moisture on the outer wall, bordering the street of Michels. Installing a ventilation system in this wall could be a solution, but he needs the cooperation of his neighbor for this, which he believes only works against him.

Neighbor Michels sees this very differently. According to him, he thought about a solution. “After many attempts, I thought: you know what, I’m going to completely cover it,” he says, pointing to the roof. “And now the wall is dry.”

Mold in the wardrobe

But it becomes clear that the shelter does not help when De Willigen opens his wardrobe, which is against a damp wall. There is mold under the cupboard. “We’ve already had to move the cupboard out of place twice because the back wall was mouldy,” he says Driving judge.

Now is the time for a permanent solution, his son believes. They decided on a special ventilation system and had someone come to measure the humidity inside and outside the wall. De Willigen: “Then I was too stupid not to tell the neighbor that this was going to happen.”

Michels was not happy about someone suddenly being in his garden. “Then I exploded. Someone was making a mess in my garden without notice, but I didn’t know what it was about.” And he decided Driving judge facilitate.

Fear of falling

But that doesn’t seem to be the only thing Michels is against. The ventilation system that is supposed to solve the moisture problem will protrude slightly from the outer wall along its road and may fall on it, according to Michels. “It’s kind of a saw.”

Nonsense, says De Willigen’s son. “It only comes out by two centimeters.” That opinion goes against Michels. “He has no information. Even hearing that makes me angry. Like: ‘Oh, it’s nothing’. If I was younger I would have said: ‘Come to the table now and I will beat you’.

The driving judge bans the ventilation system

Also Driving judge he accepts Michels’ objections to the ventilation system his neighbor wants to install. Although he wants to install the system in his own wall, the judge forbids this because it interferes with Michels’ plan.
