Antonio Fuoco set the pace in the second free practice session of the World Sportscar Championship (FIA WEC) at Imola. One of the factory Porsches and the private 499P from AF Corse also in the top three. Behind the best Toyota.

The first day of practice for the second race of the FIA ​​​​WEC season at Imola is over – and indeed Ferrari was at the front of the field in the big home game. 499P was at the top of the charts in the first free practice session. The best time of the day was in the second session with 1:30.957 minutes set by Antonio Fuoco at the Ferrari factory. This is definitely a custom made debut for the Mythos brand. Fuoco is in the race along with Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen.

Second place went to Swabia. Kévin Estre was 0.342 seconds behind in the factory Porsche 963. Este starts alongside André Lotterer and Laurens Vanthoor. The private Ferrari 499P of Robert Kubica, Robert Shwartzman and Yifei Ye came third, 0.374 seconds off the lead. Behind them was the Toyota GR010 Hybrid of Sébastien Buemi, Ryo Hirakawa and Brendon Hartley, 0.772 seconds back. These three are the reigning champions.

Defending champion Toyota did not have a place in the season opener in Qatar, but received a different classification for Imola – for example, 29 kg of weight can be unloaded. The top five was completed by a private Porsche 963 from Hertz Team Jota with William Stevens, Callum Ilott and Norman Nato.

As in the first session, the Corvette Z06 LMGT3.R was leading the LMGT3 class. This time, however, it was the sister car of Tom van Rompuy, Rui Andrade and Charlie Eastwood, who clocked 1:41.986.
