This TikTok video had it all: After a Tesla driver reported on the forum about a stuck accelerator pedal on the Cybertruck, the electric car giant must recall all delivered copies of the flagship model.

It’s bad news for Tesla! Because: The car is the flagship of the group and is meant to do everything differently from the rest of the automotive sector, especially visually.

The sci-fi-looking electric pickup truck has so far only been delivered to customers in the United States. All 3,878 Cybertrucks delivered to date have been affected and removed by US transportation authorities. The accelerator pedal problem should be fixed free of charge.

Previous owners of the big Tesla “tank” include celebrities like Justin Bieber (30), Lady Gaga (38) and Kim Kardashian (43). So they are also affected by recall.

On TikTok it had Cybertruck-The owner made a shocking incident public about a week ago: his car suddenly accelerated on its own because the accelerator pedal that had previously been pressed down was no longer released.

The man was still able to brake, but as soon as he took his foot off the brake, the beast of a car picked up speed again. Finally he was able to stop the car by turning off the engine.

During a close inspection of the foot well, the driver noticed that the decorative cover on the accelerator pedal, which had just been pressed, had loosened and moved forward, he reported in the video, which has been viewed nearly five million times.

According to Tesla, the problem was caused by an unauthorized change in the manufacturing process: soap was used as oil – and its residue weakened the adhesive.

With its powerful batteries, the Cybertruck weighs almost three tons and has a body made of thick stainless steel. The car can reach a speed of 100 kilometers per hour in just a few seconds.
