16 cars were entered in the ADAC GT Masters throughout the season. Many foreign starters have announced themselves for the 2024 season. The new concept has a positive impact on the long-running GT3 series.

The ADAC GT Masters starts its 18th season with a new and promising concept from April 26 to 28 at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. Fans can look forward to a variety of brands with seven different cars. The already established premium manufacturers of Audi, BMW, Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche have been joined by two of the world’s most famous sports car brands: Aston Martin and Ferrari. The new direction offers an attractive platform for talented and famous master pilots. The focus is on the young: The best youngster in the Silver driver classification under the age of 25 from the Silver or Pro-Am Cup benefits from the new “Road to DTM” youth talent program. The prize is funding for DTM 2025 in the form of a registration entry fee. SPORT1 remains the TV partner of the ADAC GT Masters and shows the race live on free-to-air TV.

“The new ADAC GT Masters profile gives the series a new dimension and appeal, and the ‘Road to DTM’ concept has been well received by participants. Around 30 drivers in the ADAC GT Masters want to prove themselves on the “Road to DTM”. This shows that we are on the right track with the reformation of this series,” says ADAC sports president Dr. Gerd Enser.

A total of 16 driver pairs from nine different teams will take part in the new season in the ADAC GT Masters, and newcomers will strengthen the field in individual events. In the fight for funding in the “Road to DTM”, most of the 32 registered drivers want to prove themselves with 27 talented drivers. The round also includes defending champions Salman Owega (Cologne Racing Team/Haupt) and Elias Seppänen (FIN/Landgraf Motorsport), who have one each with David Schumacher (Salzburg Racing Team/Haupt) and Tom Kalendar (Hamm /Sieg/Landgraf Motorsport). ) have new teammates by your side and drive in different teams.

The Walkenhorst Motorsport team is celebrating its debut in the ADAC GT Masters, competing for the first time at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben with the Aston Martin Vantage GT3. With Fach Auto Tech and Emil Frey Racing, two Swiss teams are returning to the famous GT3 series. Alex Fach’s team is based on a Porsche 911 GT3 R. A Ferrari 296 GT3 is used by the Emil Frey Racing team. The Dresden team from Paul Motorsport is participating in all championship races for the first time with the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo2. FK Performance from Bremen develops and relies on two BMW M4 GT3s. Confirmed mainstays in the ADAC GT Masters also include the GRT Grasser Racing Team with two Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo2s, the Liqui Moly Engstler Team with an Audi R8 LMS Evo2 and Joos Sportwagentechnik with a Porsche 911 GT3 R.
