Police from Bolesławiec found a stolen car near Dresden. An SUV worth around 200,000 PLN was stolen from the owner’s house. The thieves left the original number plates of the car in the trunk.
A patrol from Poviat Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, during their service, checked a car parked near the city playground in Bolesławiec. The uniform’s notions of its non-legal nature were quickly confirmed. As it turned out, the car had fake license plates on it. After checking the VIN, it turned out that the SUV was from Germany and had been stolen a few days earlier. – he informs service candidate Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, KPP in Bolesławiec.
The car was secured, and thanks to good international cooperation, it was found that the car was stolen a few days ago near the owner’s residence, that is, about 160 km from Bolesławiec.
The car was handed over to a German citizen who was more than happy when it was revealed that the old man had real registration numbers and thus he would not have to use a pickup truck, but would return home “on wheels”.
