Volkswagen R will rely on electric vehicles in the future

The Volkswagen R gets its own booth at the Autostadt

And this can now be seen at the Autostadt in Wolfsburg. Several brands from the group – including Lamborghini, Audi and Skoda – already have their booth there. Volkswagen R will also be represented from summer 2024, as the manufacturer explained in a press release.

“With our high performance models, we have established ourselves as an important part of the Volkswagen model portfolio – in the brand, but also in the group. With our booth at the Autostadt, we are now taking the next step to raise awareness,” explains Reinhold Ivenz, Head of Volkswagen R.

In the future, the pavilion will provide a fully flooded exhibition area for cars and displays and a rest area of ​​around 100 square meters. “Car sports enthusiasts can compete with virtual racing experts in driving simulators. The e-sport experience is not only reserved for experts, but is also intended for family fun,†says VW. Changing displays from the world of the Volkswagen R theme are also planned.
