• Here are the details about the 2024 Subaru model in Canada.

In 2024, Subaru stands out in the Canadian car market thanks to the same reputation as in the past; all-wheel drive compatibility, reliability and model diversity, as well as advanced driver assistance systems, namely the EyeSight safety unit.

In terms of new features, we see the addition of a Wilderness version to the Crosstrek lineup, as well as a new generation Impreza.

The 2024 Impreza comes with significant upgrades, including a sportier and more dynamic exterior design. Exclusively offered in a hatchback (five-door) version, it offers a high level of performance thanks to a reinforced platform and the refinement of the brand’s all-wheel drive system.

EyeSight technology is included as standard, and a new 11.6-inch touchscreen with Subaru Starlink features is available, offering wireless compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto apps.

The new RS trim level offers a 2.5-liter, 182-horsepower 4-cylinder Boxer engine, along with unique styling cues.

Subaru Legacy

The 2024 Legacy has a 2.5-liter, 260-horsepower 4-cylinder Boxer engine. Inside, its multimedia system is mounted on an 11.6-inch touchscreen, and it also offers wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

When it comes to safety, the Legacy also includes EyeSight technology that includes automatic emergency braking and cruise control.

Only one difference remains in the menu, GT, which includes a complete list of accessories.

Subaru Outback

The range’s most adventurous vehicle, the Outback offers up to 9.5 inches of ground clearance. This model has EyeSight safety technology and the same 11.6-inch touchscreen system, which includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Wilderness Edition offers increased off-road capability thanks to all-terrain tires and adjustable suspension. Two engine options are available: 2.5-liter Boxer 4-cylinder with 182 horses, as well as 2.4-liter Boxer turbo 4-cylinder with 260 horses. The latter is offered with the Wilderness, Limited XT and Premier XT versions.

Subaru BRZ

The 2024 Subaru BRZ welcomes a new performance-focused version to its lineup. The BRZ tS, which was unveiled last July at Subiefest in California, offers the best level of performance and handling ever seen in a BRZ. mainly thanks to the STI suspension (Subaru Tecnica International, the manufacturer’s competition unit) and the Brembo brake system.

The 2024 BRZ tS is Subaru’s first model to offer a marriage of a manual gearbox AND a Macho safety unit. Previously, this was only offered by cars with automatic transmission.

A 2.4-liter, 228-hp Boxer 4-cylinder is available across the lineup, with a choice of six-speed manual or six-speed automatic. Note that the tS version is only available with a manual gearbox.

Subaru WRX

The 2024 Subaru WRX has yet to reveal all its properties, but according to the manufacturer, we can expect better performance and handling. This model is powered by a 2.4-liter 4-liter Boxer turbo engine producing 271 horsepower.

Available in several trims, the WRX also offers a six-speed manual gearbox or a continuously variable transmission that takes advantage of the SPT (Subaru Performance Transmission) technique, offering excellent performance, as well as high-performance Brembo brakes.

All 2024 WRXs integrate EyeSight technology, along with Subaru’s multimedia system on an 11.6-inch screen.
