Subaru Impreza 2024 marks the arrival of the sixth generation of the brand’s compact model.

The car was unveiled at this year’s LA Auto Show, which marked the debut of the first generation at the 1992 show.
The new Impreza comes in three versions: Base, Sport and RS. The Base and Sport versions use a 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine that produces 152 hp and 197 Nm of torque. The RS gets a four-cylinder, boxer 2.5 liter with 182 hp and 241 Nm of torque.
All three versions are equipped with a CVT gearbox. The Impreza still has all-wheel drive as standard.
The sixth generation will only be available as a five-door hatchback, while the fifth generation is also available as a four-door sedan.
Exterior styling is an evolution of the current look. The front grille is slightly larger, and the headlights have a sharper look. Rear revisions are most noticeable with the same fork-shaped taillights as those on the Forester and open tailpipes.
The interior has changed a lot. The cockpit uses an 11.6-inch vertically oriented media screen, which supports Apple Carplay and Android Auto wireless connectivity.
To improve the driving experience, the 2024 Impreza has received a steering gear from the WRX design. The manufacturer ensures that this results in better performance and a better feeling when turning.
The event featured an improved version of the EyeSight driver assistance system, which now has a wider field of view, thanks to which it can, for example, identify bicycles and pedestrians at intersections. Features like collision avoidance assist, lane keeping assist, rear cross traffic alert.
The RS is a sporty addition to the new Impreza line. Its name refers to the RS model from 1998. This trim level is given a sharper look with dark gray trim on the grille, sills, mirror caps and 18-inch wheels. LED headlights and fog lights are standard in this class. For the interior, the seats are made of black fabric with red inserts. The cockpit finish is gray brass with carbon fiber imitation elements.
The 2024 event in the US will hit theaters this spring.
