The event, which will take place on 7 December 2023, sees the collaboration between CTE Infiniti Mondi of Naples and CTE COBO of Bologna and is included in the official program of the Bologna Tech Week in Bologna.

High Performance Computing (HPC)
Bologna CongressCenter (Constitution Square, 4)
Thursday 7th December at 3.00pm
“How SMEs Can Scale Mainframes: A Case Study.”

CTE COBO of the Municipality of Bologna and CTE Infiniti Mondi of the Municipality of Naples explain how SMEs can make the most of the benefits of HPC and Quantum Computing while also thinking about collaboration with AI and machine learning.

HPC and Quantum Computing represent the frontiers of advanced computing on which Europe has decided to focus the necessary investments to increase those that at the national level support the program of the National Center CN1 on these issues.
The role of important institutions such as Cineca and the University of Naples, as well as important industrial stakeholders such as Leonardo, Cisco, etc. certainly give Bologna and Naples a major role in the steps that are taking place in this direction.
The purpose of this network is not only to strengthen the common understanding of these roles and the capabilities that can be associated with them, but also to bring the topic to the world of SMEs interested in the frontier of technology and their applications. In this particular case, the Internet will represent the great potential offered by HPC and Quantum Computing in the world of computation and simulation, also thinking about collaboration with AI and machine learning.
