Indeed, Infiniti no longer exists in Western Europe. But the Nissan-affiliated manufacturer continues its operations elsewhere in the world. This is the case in the United States, where it will launch a new concept car in August 2023. This attractive SUV is called the QX Monograph, presented on the sidelines of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

With its large design, this Infiniti QX Monograph has the character of an American car. It introduces a new Infiniti design language, including the signature three-dimensional front light, a double-arched grille and a long, muscular hood with side vents.

Light signatures that come to life

Painted in a shade called Akane, the Infiniti QX Monograph also adopts the signature rear light that extends across its width. If you include obstacles, the strip gradually lights up with a specific animation, each time the car opens and closes. The SUV also has a roof panel or even alloy wheels that have details that are painted red and glossy black or covered in black chrome.

There is no information on the QX Monograph technical sheet

Infiniti does not specify whether this QX Monograph will lead to a production model or not. The manufacturer is also careful not to mention the engine, which can be electrified as the model dictates. What is certain is that certain design elements will be found in future vehicles produced by the brand. Which we shouldn’t see arriving in Europe anytime soon.

And bref

On the sidelines of the 2023 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the Infiniti manufacturer will unveil the QX Monograph, an SUV concept car that defines a new design language. Amazingly, this style study stands out especially for its light signature that comes to life when the car is opened or closed.
