Dealer and factory approvals are currently at a low level due to poor availability of vehicles. However, some made record subscription shares in the previous year that were above average.

Suzuki was also the brand with the largest share of registrations in Germany in 2022. This emerges from the new registration statistics of the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), which »kfz-betrieb« was evaluated (it only makes at least 0.5 percent of market share). In the case of the Japanese, 40.7 percent of new registered cars were accounted for by their organization last year.

However, the number of dealer and factory registrations was much lower than a year earlier. In 2021 it was still 47.5 percent. With this, Suzuki also followed the general trend. KBA recorded a declining number of registrations for almost all brands – except three: In Mitsubishi it rose from 22 percent in 2021 to 27.1 percent. In Land Rover it was 23.4 percent in 2022 – after 21 percent in the previous year. And for Smart it rose from 9.1 to 10.2 percent.
