Daniel Ricciardo may not be on the starting grid this year, but that doesn’t stop him from having projects outside of Formula 1.

Disappointing at the track over the past two seasons, the 33-year-old Australian was no longer with McLaren F1 and has since found refuge at Red Bull, where he returned as the third driver.

So he will take advantage of his free time to promote his clothing brand, Ric3, but also his wine company, DR3 Wines, in the United States.

His agent, Nick Thimm, explains that he wants to take advantage of the fact that Ricciardo’s profile has become more popular, thanks in particular to the Netflix series ‘Drive to Survive’, the 5th season of which will be released on February 24.

“Even though things haven’t gone our way at McLaren, its portfolio has never been bigger,” Thimm said.

“While we struggled to stay on track in 2022, his profile has increased from a business, marketing and sports representation perspective.”

“Red Bull Racing has never made a secret of the fact that America is a priority for them, and consumer data from its clothing and wine business shows that America loves Daniel Ricciardo.”
