The show in question was even removed from Spotify and Apple Music shortly after, because the content of the recording was so offensive.

A little later, the British artist apologized for his statements on the podcast. During one of his concerts with his band, he said “he really jokes about everything”. “Ice Spice, I’m so sorry,” was heard then. However, it is not the first time that the singer has been accused of racism. For example, in 2020 he was forced to deactivate his Twitter account after inappropriate information about the death of George Floyd.

Healy’s racist comments about Ice Spice recently caused a stir. On social media, Taylor Swift’s fans – Swifties – criticized their idol for not agreeing with the statements of the Englishman, who has been seen kissing Swift frequently recently. “He has known him for ten years. How is it possible that he doesn’t know this?” Although the American singer has not yet spoken about the issue, he seems to be sending a clear message with the new collaboration with Ice Spice. Swift announced last Wednesday that a collaboration with Ice Spice will be released on the modern version of ‘Midnights’ on Friday, May 26. The remix of ‘Karma’ is also the first single by the American artist and female rapper. “I’m a big fan of this talented artist and after getting to know him I can confirm: he’s a star to watch,” the pop star wrote on Twitter. “You are the sweetest person, thank you,” Ice Spice replied.
