That Toyota leads the list of best-selling models for 2022 should not be surprising. The Japanese manufacturer is the largest car manufacturer in the world. Still, it’s amazing that there are five Toyota models in the top 10. Toyota RAV4 stands on the highest scaffolding.
The best is the performance of Tesla, with two electronic models in the world’s top 10 best-selling lists. Including finishing the platform for the Tesla Model Y, whose global sales have risen more than 90% compared to 2021.
With an estimated 747,000 units sold in 2022, the Tesla Model Y will fall behind the inevitable Toyota Corolla, which would top the top 10 if you add in sales of the Corolla Cross.
