Tesla fan creating “CyberRoadster” using Model 3 Performance parts

Tesla aficionado and engineer, Rob Igo is creating a new breed of vehicle. With the help of a Model 3 Performance, Igo is constructing a “CyberRoadster” unlike anything else on the road.

Although Igo is an electrical engineer by trade, he has always had a passion for cars. He began tinkering with projects like converting gasoline-powered cars to electric powertrains several years ago. Now, he is taking his passion for electric vehicles to a higher level.

“The CyberRoadster is something I’ve been working on for a while now,” Igo said. “I wanted to create something that was unique and pushed the boundaries of what’s possible with an electric car.”

The CyberRoadster is a heavily modified Model 3 Performance. Igo has taken the powertrain, battery, and suspension components from the Model 3 and integrated them into a custom chassis. He then replaced the car’s body with a new fiberglass shell designed to evoke the look of a classic roadster.

“I wanted to create something that was like a modern-day hot rod,” Igo said. “I wanted to combine the performance of a Tesla with the classic look of a roadster.”

The modifications Igo has made to the car have enabled it to reach speeds of up to 150 miles per hour. Igo has also modified the powertrain to deliver more torque and improved acceleration.

“The car is incredibly fast and surprisingly agile,” Igo said. “I’m very proud of what I’ve been able to achieve with this project.”

Igo plans to continue to refine the CyberRoadster as he works to further improve its performance. He hopes to eventually enter it into racing competitions and show the world what an electric car is capable of.

“My goal with this project is to show that electric vehicles can be so much more than just commuter cars,” Igo said. “I want to push the boundaries of what’s possible and show that electric cars can be capable of incredible performance.”
