Tesla is selling its full Self-Driving subscription

Tesla has decided to offer deep discounts on full Self-Driving subscriptions. It cuts the price in half. Subscriptions cost $99 in the US instead of $199.

It’s a subscription that provides Level 2 driver assistance, which means you can’t read a newspaper right now. You have to keep your eyes on the road and be able to intervene when necessary. That’s an important fact that Tesla didn’t make clear at first, so it’s now receiving more attention. That careful driver seems important, because the system is not without its weaknesses. There have already been several updates to improve it, but it still seems unreliable to some Tesla owners.

Full Self Drive

Full Self Driving allows the car to automatically brake, accelerate and make turns. Recognizes traffic lights and traffic signs. Full Self-Driving from Tesla is more extensive than the same range of options from other brands. That often works well on highways, but not on back roads. Tesla’s system works on local roads, at least: Tesla recommends that you use it on those types of local roads.

Tesla has financial challenges, so it may be hoping to sell more subscriptions by lowering this price. After all, it means that it has a constant monthly income. Tesla has also made a number of cars cheaper in the last period. At the same time, however, it is also said to be halting development of its affordable €25,000 Tesla as it focuses on its soon-to-be-unveiled robotaxis fleet.
