2024 Infiniti QX60: Lots of Room Inside, Fellas

If you’re a guy who needs a lot of space and can start at $50K, the 2024 Infiniti QX60 would be a great place to start your search engines (as in ‘gentlemen, start your engines’)

So much can be said about this gentle bear really it has no door, and, well, much of it has already been said, beautifully:

“High quality interior, plenty of first and second row seats, ample cargo capacity, lots of standard features…” Yes, that’s right US News and World Report has said, but actually, I was going to say that too because, well, it’s true.

Imagine yourself under The Big Top (you know, like the circus) and also think that it is big and elegant and everything is going on and you just love it. That’s how I felt driving the QX60, which is only considered a Midsized SUV. Really IMHO, it’s a big horn of woe. And more than that…

Well, plenty of room inside, friends.

Yes, this is considered a Midsized Luxury SUV. Obviously, there is luxury, but in the middle? The excitement can be even greater if you get the QX80, which I reviewed last Fall. You know, just in case you need a bigger top – for clowns and elephants and dancing Bears. (Big bears will get that reference.)

When you have all the windows closed in the new QX60, you will feel calm (caution is advised here). When you stay your donkey on leather seats, you’ll swear you’re in the best cigar/whisky/leather bar in town, ‘floating’ to your favorite Gay/Bear/ Caber Toss / Hot Dog Eating Event.

All for Fifth of Maywithout doubt.

295 horsepower drives the V6 engine that makes this gentle bear roar, and you can feel it as you slide down the roads of your beautiful life.

With all of your Bear equipment, you’ll get 14.5 cubic feet of space with the third row of seats up and more than 75 cubic feet of space with the second row of seats down. Yes, there is a third row of seats, but I would advise you to keep this as only four or five bear seats.

Plus, a power liftgate is standard, making it easy to load up all your designer luggage and audio gear without fumbling with your keys or soda.

(I tested the top-grade Autograph trim, which comes with All-Wheel Drive and second-row captain’s chairs; very nice, starting at US$63,200.)

As always, please test drive before you buy. And see what insurance will cost you. And make sure you have a place to park too.

There is nothing like coming home from the nursery and realizing that your bed is too small.
