The Ford Focus ST Edition is the best of van de Focus ST

When putting together a brand new car you can get bogged down in all the extras. Do you have a few hundred euros to spare for a head-up display or would you like to invest that money in better sound? You no longer have to worry about that if you want to order a Focus ST. Ford has gathered the most popular options from the Focus ST and turned them into one package in the form of this ST Edition.

The most popular options include the Bowers & Wilkins audio system, the Driver Assistance Package (adaptive cruise control, blind spot sensors, lane keeping assist, etc.) and the Winter Pack (heated steering wheel and heated windshield ). The Focus ST version gets an adjustable suspension from Ford using a coilover kit from KW Automotive.

The Focus ST is already 10 millimeters closer to the ground than the regular Focus, but with adjustable suspension you can get another 10 millimeters closer. To help you get started, Ford provides a booklet with recommended settings for each driving environment. For example, you’ll get a special Nordschleife modification for the ST Edition, because why not?

Ford Focus ST Edition Details

The ST Edition’s handling is identical to that of the regular Ford Focus ST. Power of 280 hp and torque of 420 Nm comes from a 2.3 liter Ecoboost four-cylinder turbo engine. The 0-100 time of 5.7 seconds is also unchanged, as is the top speed of 250 km/h. The Focus ST version rides on 19-inch wheels with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires and Brembo brakes. You can order it in any color, as long as it’s Azura Blue.

Not Holland, but Belgium

Ford informs TopGear Netherlands that this Ford Focus ST Edition will not come to the Netherlands. BPM would make the car so expensive that very few would be sold here. In Belgium, Ford puts the Focus ST Edition on the price list. You pay at least 51,300 euros for it. If you put the same option, without suspension and special colors, on the Focus ST, you will spend 48,375 euros.
