The W124 day 7 organizers should be satisfied. In better weather, more than 300 vehicles gathered on the site of the former Ewald station in Herten. The diversity of the 124 models was enormous: saloons, wagons, cabriolets and coupés roamed the great hall and celebrated the “eternal” series 124. A complete success!
A disused coal mine site provided a beautiful backdrop this Sunday. The first guests started arriving around 9 am. Guests came not only from the surrounding area, but also from Bavaria, Holland, Belgium and Poland. The love for the W124 seems to know no bounds. Not only members of the W124-Club Deutschland eV were welcomed, but also last-minute guests or just fans and friends of the 124 series. The weather god Petrus took care of the rest and provided the best heat for all guests. Summer is finally here!
At the annual W124 Club meeting, it doesn’t matter if it’s original or customized. Everyone is welcome. Six doors, air suspension, large rims, restored, Lorinser, AMG, cab or white wall tires – the range of cars that arrived was huge. Anything you like is allowed! A special attraction was the model T-124, which was apparently transformed into a real sheep in wolf’s clothing with a 5-liter M119.
In addition to many beautiful stars, exciting petrol talks and good industrial conditions, the selected exhibitors offered a colorful program. In addition to MA Classic Parts, car works for LUEG and Kurth Classics, we also presented a selection of our MIB clothing – Men In Benz Streetwear. Toby’s Original German Bratwurst, which you probably also know from SCHÖNE STERNE, took care of physical well-being. Day 7 of W124 was a great success all round and we look forward to seeing you again in 2024.
